If you have received a new SIM card, your PIN is also new. If you don’t like the sequence of numbers or can’t remember it, you can easily adjust it in your iPhone or iPad settings.
How to change your SIM pin:
- Open the settings.
- Tap Mobile Network.
- Scroll down and choose SIM PIN Number.
- Tap Change PIN.
- First, enter your current PIN number and confirm with Done.
- Now enter your new PIN number twice and confirm with Done.
Ideally, write down your new PIN number directly, as it cannot be requested from the provider if you forget it. This can be done after you unlock iPhone 11 pro max
Switching Off The Iphone SIM Pin – Instructions
Alternatively, the PIN can also be switched off completely. Finally, your Apple mobile phone can also be secured in other ways, such as using a Touch ID, a code, or Face ID.
You do this as follows:
- Open the settings.
- Tap Mobile Network.
- Scroll down and choose SIM PIN.
- Slide the slider to the left so that your SIM pin is switched off.
You switch the SIM pin on again in the same way. To do this, slide the slider to the right. Order and change SIM card: Pay attention to this. SIM cards are just as affected by wear as all other parts of your smartphone. If it breaks, you can quickly request a new one from your provider.
Change SIM Card
- Turn off your smartphone so that you don’t accidentally start any apps when switching.
- Open the SIM card slot with the SIM card needle. You can usually find it on the sides or at the top of the smartphone. In older smartphones with a removable battery, the SIM card slot is often located under the removable battery.
- Place the SIM card in the given shape of the plastic slot that has been inserted in the SIM card slot. If the slot is under the battery, you have to remove it first and then slide the card into the mold.
